Volunteer

Volunteers are a huge part of our event success! They are the ambassadors for our riders and donors. Our course volunteers are available to support the riders with food, drink and encouragement by staffing the five aid stations and the finish area. There is nothing like Fritos and a Coke at the 50 mile mark to help you finish up.

This year, we are thrilled to welcome back Amy Behrhorst as our Volunteer Coordinator. Amy’s passion to serve comes from her extensive involvement with World Vision. She has been to Zambia to see Brake The Cycle’s work in the field first hand. She has visited wells, personally built and ridden the bikes we supply and has presented bicycles to hospital workers in Zambia so they may serve their patients more efficiently in remote areas.

Amy happens to be a ripping mountain biker and skier in her spare time while working at Aspen Valley Hospital. We think she’s a rock star!
